MICHAEL AXON – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Prior to joining Southpaw in July 2007, Mr. Axon was a Senior Vice President and Principal at CRT Capital Group, a credit-oriented brokerage firm. At CRT, Mr. Axon was a Senior Research Analyst focusing on distressed, high yield, busted convertible bond, capital structure arbitrage, and special situation equity situations. Before joining CRT Capital Group in 1997, Mr. Axon received an MBA with Highest Honors in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago. From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Axon was an analyst in the Global Risk Management unit of Morgan Stanley & Company. Mr. Axon received a B.S. in Finance and Accounting with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1992.

ROBERT BARRON – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Prior to joining Southpaw in October 2008, Mr. Barron was a Vice President at RBS Greenwich Capital where he ran a convertible arbitrage portfolio within the firm's proprietary credit trading group. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Barron was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank Securities where he was a credit analyst for the firm's convertible bond group. Mr. Barron received his B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his MBA in Finance from Georgetown University.

JEFFREY COHEN – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr. Cohen has been with Southpaw Asset Management LP since its inception. Prior to joining Southpaw, Mr. Cohen worked as a Vice President and Analyst in the Credit Opportunity/Distressed Securities department at Ramius Capital, LLC. Before working at Ramius, Mr. Cohen was the Vice President of Business Development at Stockback, LLC, a venture capital funded financial services company. Mr. Cohen began his professional career as a bankruptcy attorney in private practice for six years and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Bruce I. Fox of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cohen received a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University and a J.D. from Temple University Law School.

JOSEPH CIAMPI – CFA, SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST
Before joining Southpaw in June 2008, Mr. Ciampi was an Associate Director in the High Yield Research group at UBS, focusing on Industrial Manufacturing and Services. Prior to UBS, Mr. Ciampi worked as an analyst at Group G Capital Partners, analyzing high yield and distressed investment opportunities. From 2001 to 2003, he worked in the Leveraged and Structured Credit Risk Management Group at UBS Warburg, and from 1999 to 2001 Mr. Ciampi worked in the Credit Risk Management division of Deutsche Bank. Mr. Ciampi holds an MBA with a Finance concentration from New York University's Stern School of Business. He received a B.S., cum laude, from Boston College's Carroll School of Management with a concentration in Economics, and studied for one year at the London School of Economics.

VICTOR LAFAMAN – ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR TRADE CLAIMS
Mr. Lafaman has more than sixteen years of Trade Claims trading experience. Prior to joining Southpaw in February 2010, Mr. Lafaman was a Senior Vice President at Amroc Investments, LLC, which later evolved into Avenue Capital Group. During his eleven years at Amroc/Avenue, Mr. Lafaman successfully sourced claims in many of the bankruptcy cases of that period. From 1992 to 1997 he was Head of Trade Claims Sales and Trading at BDS Securities Corp., the successor firm to R.D. Smith & Co. Mr. Lafaman was also a Registered Representative and investment advisor for INVEST at City Federal Savings Bank.

JOANNA WA – SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST
Prior to joining Southpaw in September 2006, Ms. Wa was an investment banking analyst in the Global Consumer group at Merrill Lynch in New York. At Merrill Lynch, Ms. Wa focused on mergers and acquisitions as well as leveraged buyout opportunities within the broader consumer products sector, including food and beverage, wine and spirits, personal care and beauty, consumer healthcare, agribusiness and selected consumer services. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2005, Ms. Wa was an investment banking analyst at CIBC World Market's Leveraged Finance group, focusing on financial restructurings and Chapter 11 workouts across a variety of industries. Ms. Wa graduated from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing, receiving a distinction and Honors award.

SUNGNO YUN, CFA – SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST
Prior to joining Southpaw in February 2010, Mr. Yun was an Analyst at Frontier Ridge Capital, a distressed debt and credit investment firm. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Yun was an Analyst at GoldenTree Asset Management, where he followed consumer and industrial companies and primarily invested in distressed debt, high yield bonds, and leveraged loans. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Yun was an Analyst at Seneca Capital, where he focused on distressed debt investments in various sectors. Mr. Yun began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston's Hong Kong office, where he assisted on corporate finance transactions for clients throughout East and Southeast Asia. Mr. Yun moved to New York and worked in CSFB's M&A group and Private Equity group. Mr. Yun earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and is a CFA charterholder.
